Dolce & Gabbana launched D&G Light Blue in 2001 as a fruity floral fragrance for women. This scent represents a casual and breezy summer in the heart of Sicilian summer. D&G Light Blue opens up with mouth water Sicilian lemon, bellflower, cedar, and apple then moves onto a blend of jasmine, bamboo, and white rose then finishing the fragrance with smooth amber, musk, and cedar that creates an image of the south woods on the seashore. Olivier Cresp created the note behind the fragrance.
