Description
Jean Paul Gaultier launched Scandal in June 2017 as a chypre floral fragrance for women. This was originally designed to break all clichés by offering something new and modern but at the same time, it being powerful and elegant.
Top notes: Mandarin orange and blood orange.
Heart notes: Peach, orange blossom, jasmine, gardenia, and honey.
Base notes: Liquorice, caramel, beeswax, and patchouli.
Scandal opens up with sweet juicy mandarin orange and blood orange then moves onto a crisp peach with delicate orange blossom, jasmine, gardenia, and sweet-smelling honey then finishes the scent with warm caramel, liquorice, beeswax, and patchouli. The notes behind the fragrance were created by Daphne Bugey, Fabrice Pellegrin, and Christophe Raynaud.
